TitlYour role
- Be responsible for defining, planning, organizing and delivering complex & high-visibility projects, creating a climate conducive to motivation and innovation, and exercising your corporate leadership (budgets, schedules, risks and issues, etc.).
- Anticipate problem situations and interdependencies, intervene and get involved in the resolution of large-scale problems involving several sectors, ensuring the implementation of solutions and mitigation/contingency plans.
- Initiate change and encourage a rethinking of ways of doing things, with a view to continuous improvement and the achievement of set objectives.
-- Identify, raise and manage risks and issues inherent to the project and sectors in a constant, proactive and strategic manner.
Work in close collaboration with the Product Owner
- Produce the various reports needed to monitor the progress of project work and provide status updates, while adapting communication to the various audiences (Business, IT, Operations) and to the executive level.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain good relations with internal and external collaborators
- Ensure good governance and communication channels between project collaborators, and maintain constant communication with all stakeholders.
- Manage contracts with suppliers (contracts, governance, etc.)
- Promote communication within and between teams to ensure transparency
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
Ideal profile:
- Completed Bachelor's degree, industry-related, and 8 years' relevant experience or completed Master's degree, industry-related, and 6 years' relevant experience
- At least 8 years' experience as a project manager on large-scale technology projects in a large organization
- Experience in managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience managing internal and external partners and suppliers
Experience in regulatory projects an asset
- Proficiency in project-based budget management
- Experience in workshop facilitation and coaching
- Comfortable with Agile delivery and healthy management of ambiguity
- Rigorous, results-oriented, ability to negotiate and manage conflicts and/or escalations
- Ability to explain issues, risks and business objectives in simple terms
- Ability to understand the business realities of the sectors involved
- Good communication and synthesis skills at all levels of the organization (from team members to executives)
- Knowledge of banking and compliance, an asset
- Coaching certification an asset
- Influential leadership with strong political acumen
