CFMWS. A job with purpose. Our 4000+ person strong organization champions a healthy, fun, creative and active lifestyle for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans and their families. Help us deliver a variety of recreation and fitness programs, offer family support, organize charity events and make sure our members access retail, travel and banking discounts and customized financial services. At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we love what we do. And we live it too.
THE ROLE
As a Pro Shop Attendant, your role is at the heart of our golf operations. Under the guidance of the Assistant General Manager, you will be the first touchpoint for our guests, greeting them warmly, answering inquiries and advising on golf course conditions and regulations. Using our advanced booking system, you will expertly arrange tee times, making sure our guests' experiences are seamless from the outset.
Your role extends to the commercial aspect of our operations, as you will handle sales transactions for daily green fees, equipment rentals and Pro Shop merchandise. With precision and integrity, you will manage cash deposits, perform refunds, and process returns.
Your focus on service also means maintaining the highest standards for our equipment and facilities. This includes washing range balls, ensuring adequate supplies for the next day's play, cleaning and storing golf clubs and preparing golf carts to meet our guests' needs.
As an Attendant, you will also engage directly with our guests by distributing golf clubs, assisting with loading golf bags, managing rental equipment, and clearly explaining our borrowing procedures. If you are passionate about customer service and the game of golf, this is a role where you can truly make your mark!
