We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and motivated Quality Coordinator to add to our team!
Job Summary:
The Quality Coordinator is primarily responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities to ensure compliance with purchase orders, customer and product specifications, and standard industrial guidelines. Additional primary responsibilities include maintaining the calibrations and non conformance process.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Inspections of fabrication welds and understanding of CWB welding processes.
2. Ensure that all quality requirements and documentation are complete for projects, including quality-related data collection and record keeping.
3. Aids in troubleshooting problems during inspection activities and recommends corrective action to resolve issues.
4. Assists in maintenance and improvement of the ISO quality system required.
5. Familiarity with NDT testing techniques such as MPI & LPI.
6. Communicates daily with all departments regarding quality issues.
7. Demonstrated ability to use basic measuring devices and equipment and solid mechanical aptitude.
8. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prepare non-conformance reports neatly and accurately.
9. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Job Specific Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Experience:
1. A diploma in Mechanical/ Industrial Technology preferred.
2. 3-4 years of relevant experience in an ISO manufacturing environment. Preferably within the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Mining sectors.
3. Preference will be given to those with previous CWB fabrication welding inspection experience.
4. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
5. Experience working with ISO 9001 and CSA W47.1 welding requirements.
6. Must be able to work close tolerances and should be able to lift 50lb.
