Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Coordinator / Warehouse Associate to join their client’s team in Edmonton, AB. In this position you will play a key role in ensuring that our client’s products and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements as well as working with shipping, and picking and packing of orders.   • Shift: Monday to Friday |9:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Physical inspections of materials to ensure compliance to applicable specifications

  • Maintain high level of customer service and responsiveness

  • Maintaining and continually improving the quality management and safety management systems

  • Internal audit and management review for ISO 9001:2015

  • Analysis and reporting of key performance indicators

  • Providing technical support to sales and operations personnel

  • Review and approval of material test reports for customer orders and incoming stock to relevant purchase order requirements and stated material test report standards

  • Interpretation of industry standards and customer specifications

  • Promote awareness of customer needs and expectations regarding quality and service levels

  • Participate in safety related functions by being a member of health and safety committee, etc.

  • Operate equipment (forklift, overhead crane, and band-saw)

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • High school diploma, post-secondary or related piping industry experience

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements an asset

  • Warehousing experience
