We have a full and part time position available! We'd love to have you join the team! Reporting to the Manager of Recreation, the Recreation Assistant will assist and contribute to providing unforgettable experience to our resort guests and staff.

Ability to provide support and instruction to others.

Experience or education in working with children.

Developing, supervising, and participating in Resort programming activities with guest and staff of different ages

Working co-operatively with other team members to ensure guests and staff are safe, while maintaining adequate health and hygiene measures

Building relationships with all guests by showing compassion, empathy and understanding

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain client and company confidence by keeping information confidential.

2. Maintain a positive working relationship with team members and management as part of a team.

3. Assist in setting up and organizing department work area with designated supplies and equipment and maintain cleanliness at all times.

4. Assist Recreation Manager in planning and coordinating all areas of recreational programming including but not limited to:

· Supervising children

· Assisting with games, crafts, and events

· Preparing daily activities

· Preparing special events

5. Maintain enthusiasm while delivering the program and continuously motivate guests to participate in activities.

6. Always Maintain a calm and patient demeanor with guests and staff.

7. Assist Director in ensuring that all equipment meets the safety standards and that all safety hazards are reposted immediately to the Director.
