McCue is seeking an energetic and results-focused Sales Manager . If you excel at building and strengthening customer relationships, introducing new products, and finding new opportunities, then we want to talk with you. In this position, you will create and execute on a sales plan, build a base of high-profile accounts with repeat sales potential, identify new business opportunities, and broaden our client’s brand awareness with new customers across various sectors. You will deliver against quarterly and annual sales goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic development of your Industrial Safety territory while building our client’s brand.
- Heavy hunting: daily cold calling and prospecting for new business while managing retention of existing business
- Manage sales cycle from prospect to close and pass off to Customer Care & Field Services when necessary to promote customer success.
- Achieve a targeted number of trial installations every quarter.
- Fully utilize available resources to maximize award potential and overall success rate.
- Develop account expertise through customer profiling and identification of key decision makers.
- Leverage HubSpot to manage daily activity, create quotations and track success.
Preferred Requirements:
- 3-5 years outside sales experience, preferably in the Industrial Safety
- Proven ability to define and understand customer needs
- A steady track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
- Strategic and pro-active mindset with interpersonal skills and an ability to influence at the most Senior stakeholder levels
- Strong External (Customer) network
- Ability to travel 50%+ to customer within designated territory and attend meetings and trade shows as needed
- Approach situations that may arise in the sales cycle and be a solution provider
