The Registered Nurse, Telemedicine will manage and coordinate care and services provided via information and telecommunication technologies, including video conferencing through the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN). Working in collaboration with programs of care and organizations within the LHIN to successfully expand and develop telemedicine services for patients and caregivers in oncology and mental health & addictions.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent from an accredited university required
- Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Completions or currently in progress of Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) Learning Tools and Modules.
Experience:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in a community setting or combination of community and hospital or public health settings, a requirement
- Experience in a program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, a requirement
- Experience facilitating and overseeing telecommunications appointments in a medical setting, a requirement
- Experience working with a diverse group of team members both remotely and in person, a requirement

- Sound problem solving, communication (oral and written), conflict resolution and decision making skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer literacy in current software applications, including telemedicine
- Demonstrated commitment to the professional growth and development of self and others
