As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant Chef/Operator to open and operate our new restaurant within the hotel premises.
**Job Description:**
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Restaurant Chef/Operator to lead the opening and operation of our new restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of restaurant management, including menu development, kitchen operations, staff hiring and training, inventory management, and ensuring exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop a creative and innovative menu that caters to a diverse range of tastes and preferences.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards and regulations in the kitchen.
- Work closely with hotel management to develop marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract guests to the restaurant.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Chef/Operator in a restaurant or similar establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
