Global Equipment Company Ltd is Canada’s largest repossession remarketing center and Finance center for all types of heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. We provide remarketing to various banks and leasing companies including consignments and owned equipment. Global Equipment Company Ltd has been in operation for 25 years and continues to grow each year. We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales and Finance Assistant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Description:
As a Sales and Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Sales and Finance teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the sales team in managing client accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating with finance professionals to process transactions and handle financial documentation and applications.
- Collaborating with clients to provide necessary information and resolve inquiries.
- Answering and directing switchboard
- Advertising and website upkeep / maintenance
- Writing reports on equipment
- Photo Editing
- Maintaining list of current inventories.
- Cold calling to generate sales leads.
- Building and maintaining our current client list
- Creating and maintaining files
- Assist with sales
- Other administrative duties and tasks as required
- Lien searches, registrations, discharges
Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field – considered an asset and will be preferred.
- Previous experience in sales support or finance administration is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Computer Skills
