Please note this is a seasonal position, approximately 3-4 months in length.

As a Sales Team Member your main priority is to provide the best shopping experience to our customers by providing exemplary service and product knowledge. Responsibilities include greeting all customers by name or with a smile, providing expertise, and processing transactions quickly and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting all customers within a 5-foot distance in a friendly manner in accordance with the FVBS greeting policy
- Always be ready to provide prompt service to our customers
- Assist all customers in finding products and offering product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience
- Anticipate the customer’s project and suggest additional products to meet customer’s needs using our customer service standard
- Plant care, maintain health of plants
- Customer care, help customers with plant decisions etc.
- Attending/Maintaining outdoor garden center
- Merchandising and receiving orders of plants and flowers
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn about products
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Detail orientated and strong attention to following safe work practices
- Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
