Job Description
What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be responsible for providing business insights within the Avion Rewards Portfolio Analytics team. You will serve as a dedicated analytics partner that frames the output of analytical reports to inform strategic and tactical decision making. You will have the opportunity to facilitate the design and development of analytical products & roadmaps, and working closely with the partnership team, support partner relationships with data related requests.
What will you do?
Act as the dedicated insight partner and subject matter expertise supporting senior leadership and the partnership team (e.g. data visualization, storytelling)
Monitor ongoing performance of partner offers and the competitive landscape to identify trends and actionable insights. Recommend initiatives and tactics to take advantage and respond to both internal and market changes
Design highly effective analytical products such as market share shift, churn analysis, member profiles deep dives, etc. that will enable the business to set strategic direction on client profiles
Prepare and present presentations to internal stakeholders.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Proven analytics and problem-solving skills
A good understanding of SQL and data analysis techniques.
Strong Business acumen and ability to transform data into actionable insights and business recommendations
Leadership skills with ability to lead, collaborate, motivate, challenge and influence cross functional teams to deliver superior results
Communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the company.
3-5 years of related work experience
University degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g., statistics, economics, business) to demonstrate ability for critical thinking & numerical analysis
Nice to have:
Previous work experience within Merchant Partnerships or Loyalty experience.
Experience in working with Jupyter notebooks & GitHub.
Experience working with Power BI or Tableau
Experience with a 2-sided marketplace, for example merchants and consumers
