Reporting to the VP, Network Design - Wireline, this role will play a pivotal role in overseeing and orchestrating the successful execution of multiple large, complex infrastructure programs within the company. This position requires a strategic leader with proven experience in Program Management, a track record of delivering results, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Key responsibilities will include: developing and implementing strategic plans for program execution; providing leadership and guidance to a team of program managers, coordinators, and analysts; overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of programs; proactively identifying and mitigating risks and making informed decisions to keep programs on track; and managing program budgets, allocating resources, and providing regular program updates to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:• Strategic Program Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for the successful execution of programs in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a team of program managers, coordinators, and analysts, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the program lifecycle. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture with cross-functional teams.
• Program Execution: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of programs, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Mitigate risks, solve problems, and address challenges that may arise during program execution.
• Process Development: Develop and implement Program Management standards, policies, procedures, and tools to efficiently and effectively manage and report on the full portfolio of programs.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
• Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to meet program goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of resource utilization.
• Budget Oversight: Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient use of resources. Provide regular financial updates and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience managing project management professionals
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive project/Program Management experience with large, complex infrastructure programs.
