Job Summary

In this role you will be leading Internal Audit RBC US teams in the development and delivery of Strategic Initiatives in alignment with Internal Audit’s transformation goals. You will work in partnership with cross-functional teams by applying best practice change methodologies to a variety of projects. These initiatives are critical to the uplift of audit operations and processes across multiple entities within the United States.

Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

Strategic Initiatives, Project Management, and Change Implementation

  • Plan and execute strategic activities
  • Identifying gaps and new opportunities to increase effectiveness of the Audit function
  • Communicating recommendations and monitoring effectiveness
  • Manage and oversee the execution of initiatives from start to finish, ensuring timely completion
  • Develop project plans and schedules, establish project milestones and deliverables, and perform tracking against targets
  • Coordinate project team activities and communicate statuses to stakeholder and senior management

What will you do?

Communication

  • Develop, coordinate, and facilitate communication and training related to Strategic Initiatives
  • Contribute to planning and execution of communications, including producing engaging content for newsletters, videos, scripts, emails and surveys
  • Partner with US IA Methodology and Learning to develop and execute internal programs, policies and changes
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of town halls, leadership forums and other employee engagement events (virtual and in-person)

Leadership & People Development

  • Mentor team members - assist with individual capability building and certification, grow the skillsets /capabilities of the team, transfer skills/knowledge, and demonstrate awareness of linkages and political forces.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, process stakeholders, support groups, business partner teams, to ensure collaboration and cooperation to meet timing of projects.
  • Continually demonstrate commitment to and application of RBC Leadership Model Behaviors.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
