Specialized Recruiting Group - A Division of Express Employment Professionals in Cambridge is currently recruiting for a company located in Ayr that are looking to add a Service Advisor to their team. This position is a permanent direct hire position and is a straight day shift.
In this role you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service through accurate recording of service requests and ensuring timely completion of repairs. This role requires excellent and ongoing communication both written and verbal.
Job Duties
- Delivering exceptional customer service on the phone, in person and through email by providing timely and accurate updates on service and repairs
- Provide customers with a sense of ease, offer courtesy services when appropriate
- Inspect all repair work to be done, ideally with customer present, to accurately record notes for repair order
- Verify and review repair orders with customers to ensure accuracy to secure customer approval before work is started
- Follow up with customers with 48 hours of service completion to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow complaint policy to reach resolutions and support the integrity and interest of the customer and company
- Sell service and maintenance to customers in person, on the phone and through email
- Work with management in the planning and implementation of marketing initiatives
- Refer leads and prospects for potential sales to the Sales Department
- Coordinating activity with inventory management, warehouse distribution, production and accounts receivable
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
- At least 1+ years’ experience in a related service advisor role
- Strong technological competency with computers and software
- Knowledge of marine and/or automotive parts
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communication and customer service ability
- Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly
- Proven analytic, prioritization and organization skills
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Schedule
Day Shift - Monday to Friday + Alternating Saturdays (5 Day Work Week)
Pay Rate
$22.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
($45,000 - $60,000 Per Year)
