Robert Rubino Trucking Ltd is a family owned and operated trucking company in Porcupine, ON. We are looking for a Shop Coordinator to maintain the shop efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for managing the overall look and organization of the shop and property, assist mechanics and management. To be successful in this role, you should be self-motivated, have organizational skills and have basic knowledge of machinery like large trucks, industrial equipment and loaders. A-Z license is required to move trucks to other locations for maintenance when required. You will also be required to complete monthly audits for health and safety. Ultimately, you will assist the shop runs smoothly, report to management when required and ensure that all maintenance is properly reported and processed in a timely manner. Requirements of the position:

• A-Z Driver license required - Clean MVR/CVOR abstract must be provided
• Resume of past shop experience with references
• Truck & coach technician license or equivalent required- any tickets or courses pertinent to this job would be an asset
• knowledge and up-to-date experience of electronic diagnosing machinery is required
• ability to organize, coordinate & delegate jobs efficiently
• ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure and prioritize maintenance requirements at a moments notice.
• must have basic knowledge of all shop positions in order to perform audits on all shop employees monthly and maintain reports
• reliable & self motivated with the ability to take initiative to keep shop staff on task and organized
• knowledge of machinery (loaders and trucks)
• ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations to audit shop daily/weekly/monthly followed by organized educational meetings to update staff as per Ministry of Labour guidelines.
• Managing shop and all staff in daily maintaining shop cleanliness & organization
• organizing the Winter yard clean up / Summer Grass maintenance
• Assist mechanics to complete basic tasks and ability to provide guidance to apprentice staff when required.
