Site Superintendent

Responsibilities:

- Work independently and alongside Team Members to assemble/dismantle trains, pick up/set off rail cars, operate track switches, and operate transloading equipment

- Maintaining inbound and outbound operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies/procedures

- Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize workflow and meet targets

- Responsible for plans, procedures, and methods as outlined in the Railway Safety Management System

The successful candidate will:

- Possess a valid driver’s license

- Have 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in logistics, transportation, or transloading industry

- Have 2 to 4 years in a leadership and/or supervisory role

- Have knowledge with technology and computer systems with a willingness to use Excel and Outlook on a daily basis

- Be physically fit including the ability to pull self up and down from a railcar on a continuous basis, able to lift and twist air hoses, able to secure rail car brakes, derails, and switches

- Be familiar with equipment used in transloading, such as conveyor systems, forklifts, and loaders

- Be able to pass required examinations and background checks, read and understand safety instructions, books of rules, instructions and regulations, timetables, bulletins, waybills, placards, and other written or printed material
