As a Site Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Calgary's real estate landscape.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee Mid to High rise concrete projects with on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to deliver top-tier multi-family concrete condo projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of on-site construction activities for mid to high-rise concrete projects, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and resource allocation.

• Oversee the implementation of construction plans, ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards, taking corrective action as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and project records.

• Foster a culture of safety on-site, ensuring all workers adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience as a Site Superintendent, with a focus on mid to high-rise concrete projects within the multi-family residential sector.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Education:

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
