Spa Receptionist

Damara Day Spa is seeking to hire a full-time receptionist. The position is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to the patients and referring physicians in the office.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience required.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills required.
• Knowledge of office equipment and basic office management preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
·Provide high level customer service to all patients and referers.
·Must have strong phone skills, be able to multitask, and be able to handle multiple calls at once.
·Must have strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.
·Must have strong organization skills, know how many patient referrals are in the system at any given time, and how many are in the system at that point in time.
·Must have strong problem solving skills; ability to think on their feet; ability to work well with others; ability to work well under pressure; ability to work well under deadline; ability to work well with children; ability to work well with parents; ability to communicate effectively with patients and referralers.
·Must be able to keep track of all patient records at once while being able to quickly determine which patient records are still being processed and determine if any additional paperwork needs to be completed before it is sent out for processing.
·Must be able to multitask while being able to quickly determine which patient records are still being processed and determine if any additional paperwork needs to be completed before it is sent out for processing.
·Must be able to follow instructions as they pertain to the day-to-day operations of the office such as scheduling appointments, billing, collecting payments, preparing patient charts, billing insurance information, collecting copays/premiums from insurance companies, answering questions about our services, answering questions about our products, answering questions about our ingredients, etc.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.65-$18.00 per hour
