We have an opportunity for a full time/part time Spa Receptionist who thrives working in a positive, friendly and Japanese female team oriented environment. As the first point of contact with guests, you will provide a genuine interest in customer service, have a passion for wellness and beauty, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Position Summary
The Spa Receptionist play an important role in support of a number of vital Spa functions. We work to build an experience that is memorable and unique – with Japanese Spa services our priority. The Spa Receptionist takes initiative and delivers a wide range of services to insure that guests receive quality treatments and Japanese culture. We promotes Spa services and top quality organic retail sales, scheduling reservations and confirming appointments, providing answers about services, checking in guests and processing payments. The Spa Receptionist makes transactions feel like part of the experiences.The job includes significant amounts of multi-tasking, but the ideal candidate will know when to slow down, look clients in the eye and provide personalized service. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a full-time management position. Meaning growth, health benefits and the opportunity for performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the spa reception (Booking and Confirming Spa appointments, Performing cash out reconciliation)
- Aesthetician/Massage and Retail experience not necessary, but will be a valuable asset
- Opening and/or closing the Spa
- Coordinating with staff and management on a daily basis
- Creating and completing business reports
- Conclude and maintain inventory
- Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
- Managing social media
Skills
- Administrative and Organizational Prowess (Very detail oriented and ability to multitask, prioritise and operate efficiently)
- A Positive Attitude
- The right technical skills as all customer-related transactions to build clients’ trust with professional and educated oral and written communication
- Tech-Savvy & Ability to Integrate with spa industry software: Computer skills is an asset (knowledge of google drive, microsoft excel, CRM platforms(e.g. Zenoti), POS systems and Social Media Management Skills)
