OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director, professional practice, renal and oncology the Senior Data Analyst is accountable for developing sustaining, and managing numerous databases; collating, evaluating, validating and distributing data in accordance with prescribedtimelines pertaining to Cancer Care Ontario and the Ontario Renal Network.
This position supports the Director of professional practice, renal and oncology, the Medical Directors, managers and supervisors of renal and oncology.
EDUCATION
- Degree or equivalent in Statistics, Healthcare, Health or Business Administration or a related field.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of statistics and/or data analysis experience preferably in a health care environment.
- Knowledge of quality improvement tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels both as a team member and independently.
- Technical skills and expertise in Microsoft Access, Excel and Word software.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated excellence in organizing and prioritizing workflow.
- Creativeand strategic problem solver.
