Intent of the process

ANTICIPATORY PROCESS - A pool of qualified persons resulting from this process will be created and will be used to fill similar positions at the Treasury Board Secretariat with linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, bilingual imperative BBC/BBC, bilingual imperative CBC/CBC) as well as tenures (indeterminate, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment, specified period) which may vary according to the position being staffed..

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
  • A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in coordinating briefing material in support of senior officials*;
  • Experience in the quality control of written documents;
  • Experience working in a ministerial support environment (such as in a Ministerial Correspondence office, in a Parliamentary Affairs office, in a Cabinet Affairs office, or a Ministerial office) or in the office of a Senior official*;
  • Experience in using a tracking system or a data base.

Definition:
  • Senior officials are defined as Director level (EX-01) and above within the public service. In the private sector, a senior official is defined as a leader who has the authority to influence change/direct the work for a company/organization.

  • Experience in using the following computer applications such as, but not limited to: Excel, Foxit PhantomPDF and/or Acrobat DC to create PDF ebinders or compress documents.

ASSESSMENT METHODS:
Reference checks may be sought.
An interview may be administered.
A written exam may be administered.

Pass marks will be established for each qualification.
