THE ROLE
Exciting growth within our Systems & Innovation team presents a unique opportunity for a Systems Support Specialist to join our organization.
In this role, you'll be a key player in supporting our IT infrastructure and initiatives, working closely with a dedicated team to ensure seamless system operations. Reports to: Systems Administrator
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and update company-wide policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with goals, standards, and regulations.
  • Support new employee onboarding by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and company culture, and coordinate training sessions.
  • Manage equipment and software procurement, setup, and troubleshooting for internal departments, ensuring timely delivery and support.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking assistance with operational issues, collaborating with managers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain documentation of policies, procedures, and operational guidelines, ensuring compliance through audits and assessments.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to identify process improvements and develop training materials tailored to departmental needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support implementation of systems and procedures by facilitating seamless integration of newly developed or updated policies and procedures into existing workflows, ensuring adherence by all stakeholders.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in project management, process improvement, or ITIL advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or multi-departmental environment.
  • Proven experience in policy development, training, and end-user support.
  • Strong background in equipment and software management, troubleshooting, and customer service.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies beneficial for driving continuous improvement initiatives.
