Our AWIN Head Office is looking for a Systems Support Specialist to join our amazing team!
Job Purpose
The Systems Support Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of Data Center, IT infrastructure planning and various project work.
Core Accountabilities
- Configure, install and manage corporate devices including but not limited to workstations, laptops, phones and printers.
- Provide first and second tier technical support for hardware, software, VOIP and network related issues.
- Manage and balance incoming support requests and escalation to appropriate IT personnel.
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding.
- Document IT infrastructure and support-related solutions, track IT assets.
- After hours & weekends support and travelling to different locations are required.
- Projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- University Degree or Diploma in a related field.
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows 10 & 11, Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, security features and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Experience with VoIP platforms such as RingCentral is a plus.
- 1 - 3 years’ experience with help desk or customer support is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively with strict deadlines.
- Professional appearance & friendly disposition.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills. Including written and verbal to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
