Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Toronto Office, Hybrid


Overview:

Fuller Landau a mid-sized accounting, tax, and advisory firm of over 150 professionals. Our client-focused approach delivers smart, full-service support, generating tangible results for leaders of private businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and their trusted advisors.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to play a critical role in our growth journey. As the Talent Acquisition Manager at Fuller Landau, you will lead the recruitment strategy for executive, experienced professionals and student hires. Your primary goal will be to attract, assess, and select top talent while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience for all candidates. You will develop the end-to-end recruitment process, define key metrics to measure our success, and refine our differentiated employment brand promise to attract top talent to the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Attraction: Develop and implement proactive strategies to attract top talent across various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks for key roles including; Partner, Executives, Experienced professionals and students. Working together with the marketing team, build the Firm's differentiated talent value proposition.
  • Campus Recruitment: Develop and innovate the campus recruitment strategy. Deepen existing relationships with universities and with the CPA while continuously developing new ones. Lead & execute an intern student program that provides students with a meaningful experience. This includes performance management, professional development, practice specific & networking sessions, manager & mentor engagement.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a consistent and exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding.
  • Technology Tooling: Manage and optimize the use of recruitment technology tools and platforms to streamline the hiring process and enhance its efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendor partners, notably LinkedIn, to leverage their services and products to enhance Talent Acquisition efforts.
  • Reporting and Insights: Create and deliver regular, meaningful reports that provide insights into the progress of recruitment activities. Use data-driven insights to refine and improve the hiring strategy.
  • Recruitment Process Development: Establish and refine a standardized and scalable recruitment process that ensures the highest quality of candidate selection. This includes candidate selection, first & final round interviews, offer decision & communication process.
  • Candidate Assessment Tools: Develop and implement tools such as hiring guides, interview questions, and rubrics to consistently evaluate and select top candidates.
  • Hiring Manager Training: Conduct training sessions for hiring managers on effective interview techniques and best practices to ensure alignment with the organization's hiring goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Proven success in Talent Acquisition and recruitment, preferably in an accounting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment technology and tools, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and vendor management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and present recruitment metrics.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • You are a recruitment guru, you know how to build a pipeline and attract top talent in a growing environment.
  • You are passionate in promoting the firm's brand promise through various initiatives and events.
  • You have an acute ability to find passive, high calibre, candidates at all levels within various departments in the professional services industry.
  • You develop relationships quickly with both hiring managers and candidates, and instantly present the attributes that make Fuller such a great and unique place to work.
  • You have the ability to see the "big picture" business perspective but is able to "roll up their sleeves" and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong and trusted relationships internally and externally
  • You have the demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment, including managing multiple projects, meeting concurrent deadlines, managing time and priorities.
  • You have strong Microsoft skills particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
