HR Manager, Talent Acquisition

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Human Resources, the Manager, Talent  Acquisition manages and leads the full recruitment and selection cycle school-wide. Applying school values and DEI principles, the Manager partners with leaders beginning with the planning stages through to final onboarding of successful candidates. The successful candidate will be a subject matter  expert in the full-cycle recruitment process providing valuable insights and guidance to hiring managers as well as ensuring an exceptional candidate experience as we secure top talent for the school.  

Building strong relationships across the school, you will bring a creative approach to pro-actively seeking talent and creating pipelines of external candidates for key positions at the school. Additionally, the successful candidate collaborates with the HR Coordinator in the onboarding and offboarding of employees ensuring a smooth transition for employees both joining and leaving the school.

While the Manager’s primary focus is on full-cycle recruitment, as a member of the HR team, the Manager will also play a role in implementing programs and projects aligned to the department's overall strategic priorities.  Acting as a representative for the school, you will also seek out opportunities to build Branksome Hall’s brand recognition via career fairs and other networking opportunities and  serve as a member of the school’s Joint Health and Safety Committee.

 

Candidate Profile:

As the ideal candidate, you have post-secondary training and are experienced in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in an educational context, with approximately 3-5 years of directly related and progressive experience. A CHRL designation would be considered an asset.  With an innovator’s mindset, you are at ease engaging and collaborating  with a range of stakeholders, inspiring confidence, and sharing your expertise with colleagues. A strong team player, you can work independently, exercising sound judgment in managing sensitive and nuanced issues, while also supporting others in building their capacity. With a commitment to fostering strong employee engagement and providing excellent customer service, you bring an analytical, positive, creative and can-do approach to problem-solving.  You are technically savvy, with strong proficiency in MS office applications and the full Google suite, as well as experience with ADP WorkforceNow and/or other HRIS, including applicant tracking software.

TARGET HIRING RANGE: $68,500 -  $85,600
