BIBBY-STE-CROIX, Canada's leading manufacturer of cast-iron drain, waste and vent (DWV) pipes.

Are you known for your ability to negotiate and close sales? If you're also passionate about selling plumbing products, you could be the talent we're looking for! As a Technical Representative, you'll be primarily responsible for specifying cast iron products for innovative projects across Canada. You will actively participate in code and specification committees, while developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.

The Technical Representative will be responsible for managing all aspects of upstream product sales. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with engineers and building officials to update specifications, obtain approvals and notify building officials of any code changes or concerns.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that our products meet specifications;
  • Maintain strong relationships with key developers, design offices and promoters;
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers on products and industry rules/codes;
  • Provide professional, effective and efficient solutions to customer requests;
  • Work in the field by making calls and attending industry events to develop close relationships with key decision-makers among existing and new customers;
  • Plan territory, calls and routes to maximize sales;
  • Participate in special sales functions and trade shows as required and requested;
  • Prepare and produce reports as required.
