THE JOB: TERRITORY MANAGER
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager the Territory Manager is an entrepreneurial and results driven role. The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and executing their sales plan. This is an exciting sales opportunity for a professional, collaborative self-starter who has great interpersonal skills.
This individual will be confident presenting one-on-one or to a small group and, can build strong customer relationships. The Territory Manager will be required to self-educate and stay abreast of the ever-changing cannabis industry and will leverage this knowledge to influence decision makers at retail and internal team members. When developing community engagement programs, the Territory Manager will need to operate within local and federal cannabis regulations.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Selling and Influencing
Manage all accounts in their assigned territory, establish Cannavolve Inc. and its client brands as a favored partner.
Generate new Sales leads, event leads and sponsorship opportunities.
Create brand awareness and, community engagement within your given territory.
Attend relevant Cannabis trade shows in region.
Seek new opportunities to increase brand exposure and volume. Being aware of unique opportunities to promote brands within the confines of the local, provincial and, federal regulations.
Identify new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize distribution, visibility and service.
Execute marketing initiatives and leverage them into consumer loyalty and sales.
Administration for territory ensuring records and information databases are up to date.
Lead industry and brand education sessions which include supporting community engagement, customer-lead training, and sampling initiatives.
Achieve Key Performance Indicator targets as directed by Regional Manager.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain meaningful relationships that support Cannavolve Inc. operating plans.
Develop relationships with partners, key decision makers to better understand and, support their operating objectives.
Planning/Self-Management
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager in planning sales activities and setting KPIs for region.
Execute territory annual plan and commitments.
Manage own time including building effective weekly/monthly schedules.
Maintain and accurately track annual sales and consumer budgets on time.
Fiscally responsible budgeting in accordance with expense policy to drive volume and growth within acceptable trade practices.
