Join our Treasury team on a 15-month Fixed term!
As the Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for performing critical treasury activities such as administration of treasury rates, cash management, investments, regulatory reporting, and liquidity monitoring, and month end reporting. You will also respond to internal and external inquiries, take a proactive approach to solving problems, and enhance the existing processes to support the Treasury team.
What you'll do:
• Evaluate market rates and set internal transfer price rates and foreign exchange rates.
• Assist in the daily administering of FX, deposit, loan, and mortgage rates.
• Ensure rates are updated in the banking system, external company website and effectively communicated to the organization.
• Assist branches with requests on deposits and foreign exchange.
• Review and consider current and future cash requirements and recommend appropriate actions.
• Determine liquidity ratios and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal liquidity requirements.
• Prepare liquidity coverage ratio (LCR), net cumulative cash flow (NCCF), and liquidity adequacy ratio (LAR) reports.
What you bring:
- 2 years in a finance or equivalent position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Proven Financial and business acumen skills and understanding of market, transfer prices and foreign exchange rates.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in understanding and interpreting complex financial models.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to meet multiple and cyclical deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Database querying.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work a variety of stakeholders.
