In addition to the production site in Montmagny, we also operate five other production sites in Toronto (Canada), Querétaro (Mexico), Suzhou (China), Giarmata (Romania), and Boucherville, home to Elka Suspension, specializing in high-performance shock absorbers. We also have two representative offices near Detroit in the United States and in Berlin, Germany.
Our company is looking for a Vice-President Sales and Marketing. You will hold a key position within our organization, actively participating in the executive committee. Reporting to the CEO, you will be a member of the management team, contributing to strategic discussions within the company. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy to strengthen Liberty Spring's presence in various markets, primarily in the automotive industry.
Here are your responsibilities :
- Lead, supervise, and develop sales and marketing teams;
- Plan, organize, and direct the sales and marketing activities of the company;
- Design and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with automotive market trends and company objectives;
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners;
- Monitor sales performance and adjust plans to meet or exceed objectives;
- Evaluate and optimize pricing structure to ensure competitiveness and profitability in collaboration with the VP Finance;
- Expand the client portfolio, focusing on the development of the European market;
- Participate in the analysis and development of key performance indicators and overall sales alignment to identify business opportunities;
- Oversee external communications and social media, including the development and implementation of a marketing and communication strategy;
- Identify and analyze customer service issues and develop creative solutions to resolve them;
- Design, implement, and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
Hiring requirements
- Hold a graduate degree in business administration or marketing or a combination of relevant experience and training;
- Have over 10 years of experience in a leadership role in sales and marketing, preferably in the automotive industry;
- Expertise in new market development and continuous improvement strategies;
- In-depth knowledge of OEM processes, aftermarket, and associated growth opportunities;
- Proficiency in French and English; Spanish is an asset;
- The position requires frequent travel.
