It was co-founded by Thais Gibson and Giovanni Bartolomeo in 2019 and is an online learning platform that teaches courses on personal growth, mental health, and well-being with a focus on relationships and attachment theory.

The Personal Development School seeks a talented and enthusiastic Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, strong technical skills in video editing software, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in editing videos for various projects, including but not limited to social media content, promotional videos, and podcast episodes.
• Collaborate with the senior Video Editor and creative director to understand project requirements and execute edits accordingly.
• Organize and maintain a library of raw footage, graphics, and audio files.
• Perform basic color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production tasks as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and working within Creative Cloud is a must.
• You must have a dependable computer powerful enough for video editing and motion graphics, with sufficient RAM, processor speed, graphics card, and storage.
• Basic understanding of video codecs, file formats, and compression techniques.
• Comfortable with audio editing, including mixing, SFX, and podcast editing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A portfolio or reel showcasing previous video editing work is highly preferred.
• Graphic design knowledge is considered an asset.
