Ward Clerk - Permanent Part-Time

Cedarwood Village is an accredited 90 bed nursing home located in Simcoe, ON (Norfolk County).

We currently have an opening for a Permanent Part-Time Ward Clerk

POSITION :Ward Clerk. This position reports to the Director of Care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers phones and greets visitor to the facility.
• Assists with the TENA program
• Assists in managing and tracking of CQI data
• Restocks forms needed by nursing department
• Practices universal precautions and adheres to WHMIS protocols.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families and all members of the Cedarwood Village team.
• Other duties as assigned by the DOC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have proficient skills in the use of Microsoft office platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work safely by following established safety practices and procedures.
• Successful candidate must be available to work weekends and statutory holidays.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
