Qualifications:
- Medical Secretarial Diploma or Equivalent
- Medical Terminology
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer literacy and keyboarding skills.
- Documented public relations skills with ability to problem solve effectively.
Required Skills:
- Ability to organize related activities; to remain flexible; and adapt to crisis situations and
rapid change - Ability to manage a variety of patient conditions
- Sound problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed, motivated team player with a commitment to ongoing professional
- development and continuing education
- Good attendance and work record is essential
- Ability to work weekends and rotating shifts
