Key Responsibilities
Loading and Unloading Operations: The warehouse manager is responsible for ensuring that all loading and unloading activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Inventory Management: The warehouse manager is responsible for overseeing all inventory, ensuring that all products and supplies are accounted for and properly stored, RMA process.
Shipping and Receiving: The warehouse manager oversees all incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspecting products for damage and ensuring that orders are accurate.
Coordinating with Other Departments: The warehouse manager coordinates with other departments to ensure that all products are properly received, stored, allocated, and shipped.
Safety and Security: The warehouse manager is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors.
Record Keeping: The warehouse manager is responsible for keeping accurate records of inventory, shipping and receiving, and other warehouse activities.
Process Improvement: The warehouse manager is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing new processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written) is required
- General understanding of Telecommunication (Wireless Industry) would be an asset
- Use of MS office software
- Comfortable to operate a forklift
- Friendly, positive attitude and have the ability to have fun in a fast paced environment
- Must have a valid BC driver’s license
- Detail oriented, organized and systems oriented
- Creative thinker, problem solver, good communicator
- Ability to learn and work independently as well as within a team
- Ability to lift more than 20KG of weight.
