What is the opportunity?
Within RBC’s Personal & Commercial Canadian Banking Operations (CBO), the Operations Centres are delivering best in class service within all lines of businesses including the Business Lending, Personal Lending, Specialized Services, and Transaction Services. Our overarching goal, through employee engagement, is to meet client commitments, improve productivity, and create a superior client experience. The Operations Centres are a great foundation for understanding banking and can be a spring-board to other opportunities elsewhere in CBO and RBC.
What will you do?
- Successfully execute change, issue resolution and effective decision-making in relationship by collaborating with team members and colleagues
- Proactively identify innovative opportunities to enhance client experience and business/process efficiency and effectiveness
- Create and maintain clear, concise and accurate process documentation, including operating guidelines, job aids, process maps, policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes
- Take ownership, building trust and accountability
What do you need to succeed?
Required:
- Currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution with an interest in Banking Operations and enhancing the client experience
- Bilingual in French and English required, as you will regularly do business with partners across Canada
- Proven efficient administrative and organizational skills
- Strong MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills
- Experience working in a fast paced, detail-oriented operations environment
- Change management experience and ability to adapt quickly in an agile environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience using Visio
- Previous experience at RBC or with Banking Operations’ systems
