We are presently looking for an individual to work as part of a team as well as independently. The successful candidate will be outgoing, have good people & listening skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly resulting in the sale of renovation projects.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Management Group, this position is responsible for the growth of new business and the support of existing business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all aspects of sales and customer relations within the greater HRM
- Target new business as a result of the leads received through the marketing initiatives of the company and managing existing clients
- Execute sales strategies – supporting the existing customer base as well as developing new account growth
- Submit weekly activity reports and participate on joint sales calls with other members of the team
- Monitor the competition through marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc. and recommending changes based on this information
- Responsible for sales forecasting, budgeting and tracking
- Work with project team, involved with resolving customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with crews and sub trades through regular account visits to job sites
- Complete renovation quotes
- Understanding of the local building codes
- Frequent job site visits to strengthen and foster relationships with clients of sold projects
- Work closely with Project Management and Design staff
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years experience in a sales capacity
- Post-secondary education is preferred
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Advanced facilitation skills
- Superior planning and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
- Valid driver license and vehicle
- Other duties as assigned
