Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for data entry and financial transactions
- Process payroll in a timely manner

-Invoicing, bill payments, sales tax remittance.

-Other accounting tasks as required

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
- Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Competency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus, but not required

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
