Accounting Clerk

Moncton Honda is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast paced environment, embraces change and process improvements. We are seeking someone who closely matches the following:

• Requires a minimum of a College Diploma in accounting and payroll administration.
• Team player with strong organizational skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and accurate
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:

Journal Entries:

• Purchases
• Online Payment and Credit Card Payment

Reporting:

• Reviewing, posting, and creating batches for transactions
• Daily Deposits

Reconciliation:

• Clearing Accounts (Visa, MC, Debit, Amex, Cash and Cheque)
• Petty cash and Replenishment of Cash
• Tracking and Clearing the Accounts Payable

Accounts Payable:

• Code, insert, and distribute expenses throughout the invoices
• Cheque run (Regular cheques, EFT, Credit card, online payments
• Merging payment and invoices
• Rebates
• Contact and being contacted regarding invoices and statements
• Chasing after credits

Other Miscellaneous duties as required
