Job description - BOOKKEEPER

Responsibilities:

• Entry Level bookkeeping position which includes, bank reconciliations, posting invoices and expense claims, sorting receipts and credit card reconciliations.
• General Administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, scanning documents, mailing/courier packages and other office admin duties are required

The successful candidate:

• has training and general knowledge of accounting functions and accounting principles
• high attention to detail and accuracy
• has time management & task prioritization skills including the ability to manage multiple deadlines, determine priority and get tasks completed
• is organized, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
• is proficient with accounting programs such as Sage 50, Microsoft Office and Excel and can learn additional software programs
• is great with people and has excellent customer service skills
• has self-confidence and maturity
• Accounting and bookkeeping program certification

Experience:

• Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)
• Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
• Sage 50: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Required)
