Accounting Clerk

Steele Auto Group is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Saint John!

As an Accounting Clerk with Steele Auto Group, your responsibilities will include assisting in financial record-keeping, data entry, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial processes. If you have a keen eye for detail, basic accounting knowledge, and strong organizational skills, this role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to our financial operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interdepartmental relations, transaction posting & reconciliations
• Inventory management and quality control
• Assisting the Controller and Accounting staff with various accounting duties
• Post and report car deals
• Accounts receivable and balancing accounts
• Other duties to assist the Controller as required

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting
• 1 -2 years experience in an accounting role
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of computerized accounting systems is considered an asset.
