Accounting Technician

Imports Dragon is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. Reporting to the V.P. Finance, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and process invoices for payables.
• Prepare, process and collect receivables.
• Validate Vendor Agreements (applicable discounts) with invoices.
• Follow up on receivables on an ongoing basis and actively participate in the collection of overdue amounts.
• Reconcile credit cards and expense accounts.
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties.

** Experience in retail distribution (wholesale players) is very important**

What we are looking for:

• DEC in accounting or equivalent.
• 3 year's experience in a similar position.
• Bilingualism essential.
• Good knowledge of computer tools, Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of ERP software (Prextra) - an asset.
• Experience involvement selling to retail.
