Address Robert Half Accounting Contract is looking for a Senior Accounts Payables Specialist to join a growing construction company located in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Reporting to the Corporate Assistant Controller and overseeing a team of 2 Accounts Payable Associates, the AP Supervisor will process high volume AP invoices, work closely with managers to ensure accurate job cost posting, prepare batches of invoices for data entry, complete entries, and process backup reports, prepare/oversee credit applications process, maintain vendor communication, and prepare analysis using SPECTRUM.
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or related discipline
3-5 years of previous experience in full cycle accounts payables
Excellent experience dealing with vendors
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Intermediate level MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
