Role Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist at Select Finishing Ltd. plays a vital role in the company's financial operations. Your responsibility encompasses managing and executing Accounts Payable tasks, maintaining financial accuracy, and fostering financial controls. You will be tasked with the precision-driven oversight of financial obligations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions while upholding the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage Accounts Payable processes and maintain meticulous financial records.
- Align purchase orders with fiscal policies, ensuring financial integrity.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and address discrepancies with agility.
- Analyze expenditure to identify cost-efficiency opportunities.
- Facilitate internal and external audit processes by providing comprehensive support.
- Enhance the financial acumen within the team by mentoring junior staff.
Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management software.
- Exhibits exceptional organizational skills, with an aptitude for prioritizing effectively in a vibrant environment.
- Communicates with clarity and purpose, enhancing internal collaborations and vendor relations.
