The successful candidate will have the following:
Our client in the Ottawa East area is looking for an Accounts Payables Specialist to join their fast-paced, growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This organization supports professional development within its dynamic work culture, paired with a generous compensation package and opportunity for Hybrid work.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- High volume, full-cycle Accounts Payables
- Matching, batching, coding of invoices, obtaining approvals from appropriate sources
- Preparation of cheques and EFTs
- Processing expenses, verifying information, preparing payments and cash advances
- Bank account and credit card reconciliations
- Processing outstanding payments, updating appropriate payment reports
- Assist with Accounts Receivables as necessary
- Bi-weekly payroll remittances and payroll reporting
- Liaise with vendors as needed, answering inquiries while providing quality and professional direction
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 1+ years experience in full-cycle Accounts Payables within a high-volume environment
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
- Strong oral and written communication skills (English)
