Job description

We have a full-time opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Campus Auto Group team.
Overview:
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administration Assistant maintains and handles all deal files for Campus Honda Victoria and Campus Acura Victoria, ensuring they are properly accounted for and processed on time. This is a very important position and practical understanding of basic accounting is essential. A strong attention to detail, problem solving and personal time-management will be critical skills utilized on a daily basis. Applicants who are comfortable working with PBS dealership software will have an advantage, although previous knowledge is not required.
Applicants must be personable, able to deal with deadlines effectively, manage their priorities and willing to work within a great team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Our Accounting Assistant is responsible for following our accounting standards, maintaining up to date reports and assisting the Office Manager by completing the following duties:
  • Processing and posting various deal entries during the month
  • Create and maintain correct commission totals for staff
  • Identify and follow up on any deal discrepancies
  • Calculating vehicle and Business Office profit
  • Post Journal Entries and maintain account schedules
  • Communicate with managers and work well with others under tight deadlines
  • Prepare commission sheets for payroll
  • Process inventory payouts
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations
  • Work with Microsoft Excel
  • Complete various month-end tasks using both PBS and Excel
