Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support III provides a variety of administrative activities to support the Chronic Disease Management RNs. This may include booking referrals and scheduling appointments in Connect Care, calling clients, requisitioning, and maintaining supplies and equipment; operating and troubleshooting office equipment; ensuring the integrity of confidential information; and performing other related duties as required. This position provides support to Chronic Disease Management nurses. Job location may be negotiable between Grande Prairie and Peace River. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Certificate or diploma in Office Administration or equivalent training requiring automated word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Minimum one-year related office experience. Excellent typing/word processing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Proficiency in Connect Care. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Work with a variety of computer programs, in particular Microsoft Office. Function effectively within a dynamic work environment. Organize own work to meet pre-established deadlines, and to comply with staff schedules.
