JOB SUMMARY: This position provides administrative, financial, and operational support services, front counter and telephone enquiries and complaints, and data entry of court-related information. This position reports to the Administrative Supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Data entry
· Responds to front counter and telephone enquiries and complaints
· Administrates court detail for the LRPS court files
· Liaises with individuals to obtain and provide information related to court cases, remands, and witness travel arrangements, as required
· Maintains radio contact with police officers to provide pertinent information
· Handles emergency and/or 911calls; records information on the details of the complaint and notifies/dispatch appropriate responder(s)
· Maintains the Operational Records Management Systems and manual filing systems
· Develops and compiles statistical and narrative reports and documents
· Receives, sorts, and distributes mail and arranges courier services
· Participates in meetings and conferences and record minutes
· Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
· Complete training and certifications upon hire
· Knowledge and appreciation of the Cree people and Indigenous people across Canada
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
· Handle conflicting deadlines, multiple demands, time pressures, and changing priorities
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
· 12-months probationary period
· Successfully complete PROS and CPIC training
· Successful criminal record check and security clearance
· Sign and abide by an Oath of Allegiance and Office
· Afternoon or evening shifts may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,909.00-$76,639.00 per year
