POSITION: Accounts Payable PT, Permanent

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is the accounts payable support role for the brewery, F&B and tap room operations. This person will need to have strong administration skills, a passion for details and the ability to make empowered decisions. This position will be based out of our brewing facility but will be required to have the flexibility to carry out tasks at each location as required. Strong relationship skills are required, as this position will interact with suppliers, colleagues, and leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record & verify all accounts payables invoices and expenses
- Prepare checks weekly
- Review accounts payable aging & resolve any discrepancies
- Track and file company invoices
- Review and reconcile credit card expenses
- Prepare monthly entries, reports and reconciliations as required
- Track environmental statistics & reporting
- Maintain proper audit track records, follow company policies & procedures
- Develop and maintain close and effective working relationship with all supporting departments
- Follow health & safety guidelines at all time
- Consider the environmental impact in all decisions
- Other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- 2-3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and/or 1-2 years’ experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge with a variety of software programs required; QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, EKOS, etc.
- Education in accounting or administration related discipline a strong asset
- Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities
