- Note, this is an onsite position with flexibility as needed.
- Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, adhering to relevant accounting standards.
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and evolving accounting standards.
- Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
- Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage tax filing requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Work directly with Director of Finance to make process improvements and improve efficiency in the department.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance with progressive experience.
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities.
- Experience with financial reporting requirements.
- CPA or recently passed qualifying exam preferred.
- Previous experience as Assistant Controller or Controller preferred.
