Job Description
As Assistant Controller, you will oversee day-to-day financial operations, manage monthly reporting cycles, and actively contribute to various finance projects. Working closely with the VP of Finance, you will have autonomy to lead and optimize financial processes, making this role both challenging and rewarding.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accounting systems.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Participate in financial budgeting and reporting processes.
- Perform monthly analysis of budget variances.
- Contribute to process improvements and system upgrades.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
