THE OPPORTUNITY

GR (CAN) investment is hiring a Business Assistantto join our Business team For Riverfront Project in Niagara Falls.

What You’ll Do: As the Business assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Business Team operations. You will support the team with all planning and business-related activities that occur within the river front project.

Who You Are: This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience in strong business to detail and a can-do attitude. You will ideally have strong communication skills with the government, professional consultants, and our clients. Computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word, and any experience in real estate is a definite asset.

What We Offer:

  • Salary range of $38,000 - $52,000 based on skill level, qualifications, and experience.

Work Environment: This role is to be performed in person at our Niagara Falls comfortable office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing assistance to Vice President during the development of the River Front project, such as communication with the city, drawings review, and various meetings.
  • Provide support to the business manager by collaborating with brokers to figure out anchor tenants for our commercial street, and other Condo, Hotel sales and lease.
  • Supporting planning team for related documents preparation and submission.
  • Assist in the processing of invoices, and loan documents, and part of the cashier job.
  • Provide support for the preparation of monthly city meetings; pre-consultant meetings; and regular meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Business major, such as Business Administration or Accounting etc. is preferred.
  • Computer skills are required including proficiency with MS Office products.
  • 1-2 year’s experience in business and administration management preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, and Required Competencies

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of business.
  • General knowledge of engineering practices is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet/Photoshop/Excel would be an asset.

It is a natural, smart, and healthy community. Right now, it is in the process of planning.
